morning interrupted

I wonder if we are moving

forwards, or backwards

haiku: being lost

marching to drumbeats

that follow no stoccato –

she feels nothing

haiku: just let me sleep

ringing, dinging bell

my sonorous sleep is broken

like a lover’s heart

haiku: fast life

chasing days and dreams

and leaving myself behind

oh duplicity

haiku: un/certainty

A butterfly’s wings

against my cheek, tentative

texture of your smile

haiku: on stereo life part I

fear in the familiar

drugged-up existence.

3am suppers –

real and ethereal

truth, beauty and love

moment of self-doubt

what if all I had to give
